PROGRAM ASSISTANT - RALEIGH, NC ( PART-TIME Position - located in RALEIGH, NC )

Hybrid-Remote Part-Time position located in the greater Raleigh, NC area with local travel required. *MUST LIVE IN THE RALEIGH AREA.

Entryway offers an innovative approach to assist a growing population of situationally homeless individuals in our country by leveraging existing resources within the $1.3 trillion multifamily industry.

To strengthen our North Carolina team, we are looking for an individual that is self-motivative, results and quality driven, detail-oriented, energetic, tech-savvy, and capable of working under competing and varying deadlines. You should be a reliable, forward thinker with a positive “whatever it takes” approach, feeling comfortable in a leadership role expanding into a new market. This individual can successfully work remotely and be self-accountable.

We are actively seeking to add a Program Assistant to our team. As the Program Assistant, you will work with the North Carolina Executive Director (ED) to expand Entryway services in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding areas in NC.

Specific job responsibilities include:

Business Development

  • Expand Entryway NC program into the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding areas.

-Identify, solicit, develop, and maintain new relationships with local referring partners, training and

vocational partners, and other non-profit organizations providing referrals and resources.

-Seek, develop, and build new relationships with apartment industry recruiters, hiring managers,

regional managers, community managers, and maintenance supervisors.

-Create partnerships with local community-based organizations.

Marketing

  • Amplify Entryway NC’s mission and brand awareness.

-Collect stories, quotes, and testimonials from program participants, industry partners, referral

organizations, mentors, and volunteers.

-Create engaging content for sharing Entryway’s success stories, community engagement, education,

call to action, event promotion, recognition, and other initiatives including using unique designs,

photos, and video.

-Utilize Canva, MailChimp, and social media for creating designs, distributing, and information.

-Manage all social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.

Fundraising

  • Play an active role in fundraising.

-Research, evaluate, write, and submit grants.

-Identify and build a pipeline of new funder prospects.

Program Management

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation for Entryway NC’s program management including applicant screening, case management, follow up, employment retention, mentors, and volunteers.

-Create resume updates and enlist participants for help with interviewing skills.

-Assist with promoting Entryway program participants for job openings and resume submission.

-Coordinate furniture requests, schedule delivery, and follow up.

-Match hired participants with mentors.

-Function as liaison, as needed, between industry partners and participants to resolve low-level

employee relation issues.

-Develop and implement all volunteer recruitment and management strategies, including a volunteer

appreciation plan.

-Assist with planning and execution of events.

-Coordinate and lead the market’s mentor program.

-Maintain and carry out a schedule of all necessary follow-ups.

Data and Reporting

  • Produce various reports and maintain program data collection and information tracking.

-Input daily/weekly data into Salesforce.

-Maintain up to date information in Trax.

-Track all self-sufficiency matrix.

-Meet or exceed all KPIs.

-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software packages pertinent to executing the job.

-Extended hours may be required as needs dictate.
