WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Manahawkin, NJ.
Job Function:
Applies and interprets external fetal monitors, adjusting care based on fetal heart rate and maternal status.
Identifies and responds to emergency situations appropriately.
Administers medications following safety protocols and provider orders.
Screens and reassesses patients for pain as per clinical guidelines.
Assists physicians or midwives during deliveries.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a BSN.
Active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
2 years of acute care experience in Labor & Delivery.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
