Department: Revenue & Growth

Level: IC7

Salary Range:

•Typical hiring range for high cost of living locations (DC/CA/NYC): $137,250 - $183,000 + potential bonus eligibility
•Typical hiring range for all other locations: $116,662 - $155,550 + potential bonus eligibility

Job Summary

As the Sr. Director of Product, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for driving the vision, development, and execution of innovative products that enhance Out & Equal’s impact and revenue growth. You will oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, strategy, and long-term goals. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in product innovation, business strategy, fundraising/development and stakeholder collaboration to expand and optimize revenue-generating initiatives.

Essential Functions

Strategic Product Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with Out & Equal’s mission and growth objectives.

  • Lead the ideation, development, and market introduction of new products that drive revenue and expand organizational reach.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously measure product impact, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Identify and leverage market trends, competitive insights, and emerging opportunities to inform product innovation.

  • Partner with senior leadership to integrate product initiatives into overall business strategy.

Product Development & Execution

  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution, high-quality delivery, and impactful user experiences.

  • Define and manage product roadmaps, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation.

  • Cultivate strong cross-functional collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on product objectives, marketing strategies, and operational execution.

  • Establish and oversee vendor relationships, ensuring high standards of service and product alignment with strategic goals.

  • Implement and optimize processes for efficient product management, launch strategies, and performance evaluation.

Revenue Growth & Business Enablement

  • Develop strategic plans for development, execution and measurement of fundraising, developmentinitiative.

  • Identify and develop new revenue streams through innovative product offerings, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.

  • Drive sponsorship and monetization strategies to maximize product profitability and market impact.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on business model optimization, ensuring sustainable growth.

  • Foster relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and business expansion.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a thought leader and champion of product innovation, representing Out & Equal in key industry discussions and events.

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product alignment with community needs and organizational priorities.

  • Communicate product vision and progress effectively across all levels of the organization, inspiring teams and driving engagement.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Qualifications (Licenses, Certifications, Education Related Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field, or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred

  • 10+ years minimum experience in product management

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires overnight domestic travel less than 25% of the time
