Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their team. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be part of the operations team supporting various business functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Part Time Purchasing Assistant

Location: Columbus, IN

Pay Range: $20/hr + based on experience

What's the Job?

• Assisting with purchasing by ordering materials and creating purchase orders.
• Following up with suppliers on open orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Matching receivable receipts to purchase orders for accuracy.
• Answering phones and assisting with inventory management.
• Sorting parts and supporting various other tasks as needed.

What's Needed?

• Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office required.
• Previous experience in purchasing is required.
• A desire to learn, grow, and support all aspects of the business.
• Comfortable working on the production floor and able to climb stairs to the upstairs office area.
• Availability for part-time hours, 4 days a week, totaling 24-30 hours.
