Paid Social Media Manager

An in-house trading desk team is looking for a Paid Social Media Manager . Reporting to the Manager, Paid Social Strategy and Activation, this role will help execute paid social media campaigns for a portfolio of parks and resorts brands. The team directly manages all paid activity across several ad platforms, including Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.

The individual filling this role will be responsible for campaign management activities such as campaign implementation, QA, ongoing optimization, performance insights reporting, and organic posting support. You will also provide input into the construction of client decks and status documentation.

Payrate: $41.29/hour on W2

Hours per week: 40

Duration: 1 year contract with potential to extend or convert FTE

The ideal candidate will have extensive prior experience with paid social buying, campaign management, and data analysis. Familiarity with online trafficking and tracking via ad servers and digital analytics tools is a plus.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and optimize paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure proper campaign setup to track correctly in Adobe SiteCatalyst and paid social buying platforms (e.g., YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok).
  • Collaborate with the organic social team to promote key organic content through paid efforts.
  • Analyze campaign and platform performance to identify key insights, trends, and testing opportunities.
  • Manage daily campaign optimization to achieve traffic, engagement, and conversion goals.
  • Track daily budgets to ensure campaigns are pacing according to plan.
  • Utilize a team workflow system (SmartSheet) to manage and prioritize assignments.
  • Create strategy proposals for new campaigns or account structures based on provided objectives.
  • Manage bid rules and optimizations at the campaign, audience, and ad levels to drive performance.
  • Review reporting and provide insights and commentary on performance variations.
  • Manage execution and reporting for ad, landing page, and vendor beta testing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management, internal teams, and social platform contacts to define best practices and drive efficiencies.
  • Stay current on social media advertising trends and recommend new tactics and strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years executing paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, and Google Ads interfaces.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Snapchat, or TikTok a plus.
  • Familiarity with a major web analytics vendor (Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics, or Google Analytics 360) to inform tactical decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work well cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable working with team members at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Additional Information:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience, or without a degree, 6–8 years of relevant experience.
  • Education or background in marketing, business, social media, analytics, or statistics preferred.
  • Must have paid social media experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Should possess strong interpersonal skills to navigate conversations effectively.
  • Experience working for a large company with high-budget responsibility is highly desirable.
  • Primary platform experience should be with Meta.
  • This is a 12-month role with potential to extend (no guarantees).
  • Onsite work required Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
  • Work environment is an open, collaborative office space with a casual but neat dress code.
  • A Mac computer will be issued, so consultants must be comfortable working on a Mac.
  • Work hours are flexible between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, depending on team needs (8-hour day).
  • No overtime or travel expected.
  • Interview process will consist of four Zoom interviews.
  • Target start date: July 1, 2025.
