Job Description

LHH is seeking an Finance Manager for a client in the Fort Worth area. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing financial modeling and providing analytical support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The role emphasizes building scalable reporting processes, supporting private equity (PE) reporting requirements, and enabling data-driven decision-making across departments. The FP&A Manager will collaborate closely with multiple departments to establish a consistent financial reporting cadence and deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead the company’s annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning processes.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, investment decisions, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Develop models for resource planning, cash flow forecasting, and capital expenditure evaluation.
  • Prepare high-quality executive reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI analyses to inform leadership decisions.
  • Provide financial analysis and modeling in support of M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams during deal execution to provide financial guidance and insights.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across financial systems and reporting outputs.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior financial analysts as applicable.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial processes.
  • Represent the finance function with professionalism, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or CPA designation preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in a private equity-backed, project-based, construction, or infrastructure environment
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation capabilities
  • Experience with M&A activities, investor reporting, or board-level presentations is strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and sound business judgment
