Location Description:
Moments away from the rest of the world, but a world away from it all, Stonewall Resort is a truly unique lakeside destination for vacations, meetings, weddings, reunions, and romantic getaways. Our rustic yet elegant Adirondack-style lodge and spectacular cottage collection is perched alongside quiet lake waters and the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course, while surrounded by 1,900 picture-perfect, “Close to Nature” park acres.
Overview:
Provides services to our guests that are focused on skin care including, but not limited to, skin treatments, facials, makeup application and hair removal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greeting guests and suggesting the appropriate therapies and treatments
- Performing consultations, both in person and over the phone
- Performing skin assessments to identify problems and the right course of action
- Maintaining client reports and notes
- Educating clients on spa/salon therapies and services
- Actively pursuing daily sales goals, including retails sale
- Provide high-quality facial treatments that address skincare concerns.
- Advise clients and suggest treatments related to their individual needs.
- Perform face and scalp massages for therapeutic or relaxation purposes.
- Remove hair by exfoliating, waxing, threading, or with chemicals.
- Perform face and body masks, wraps, sugar and salt scrubs, and compression wraps.
- Perform facial extraction for blackhead removal.
- Consult with the guest to ensure expectations are met for a pleasurable visit, which may include a site tour.

- Ensuring proper care of salon/spa equipment
- Ensuring safety, sterilization, and sanitation procedures are satisfied.
- Able to work weekend and evening hours.
- Communicating with staff and management to ensure the salon or spa runs smoothly and according to schedule.
- Will perform additional duties as requested by immediate superior.
Education and Experience:
- Esthetician/Cosmetologist license certification from a WV Board Certified School.
- 3 years of previous experience required.
- Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred to complete logbooks, various departmental forms and communicate with guests and coworkers.
Marginal Functions:
- Attend product knowledge training as required.
- Keep current and up to date knowledge of changing trends and developments in the department.
TOOLS, MACHINES, AND/OR EQUIPMENT USED
Equipment consistent with meeting cleaning and sanitizing standards including, but not limited to, Brooms, Mops, Vacuum cleaners, dusters, etc .
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Esthetician/Cosmetologist license certification from a WV Board Certified School.
- 3 years of previous experience required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
