The ERM Risk Analytics Engineer will assist the Senior ERM Data Engineer & System Administrator in modernizing the Enterprise Risk Management 2nd Line of Defense architecture and infrastructure by maintaining GRC process workflows, supporting ERM reporting ecosystem including the use of automation, developing SQL queries and creating data visualizations to support risk identification and triggers/breaches escalations program. The candidate should be proficient with structured query language, data visualization tools and experienced in providing system support. The candidate should be comfortable in a collaborative team-based environment in which they would support the Senior ERM Data Engineer. Must demonstrate an innate drive to improve and expand their knowledge and technological skillset continuously. Essential Functions include supporting efforts to modernize and replace legacy reporting solutions within the 2nd line of Defense; building access to multiple internal and external databases for risk oversight reporting; reviewing AI scripts and models; supporting deployment of test scripts and collaborating with 2nd Line of Defense and IT teams; supporting GRC application usage and user account configuration; leveraging data analysis techniques; building and automating reports with Power BI, Report Builder, .Net Core, Python, Power Shell; working with DBA team on views, stored procedures, and ETL pipelines; working with Identity Access Management; supporting application databases and warehouses; developing and enhancing REST APIs; leveraging front-end Javascript-based charting libraries; collaborating with cross-functional teams on AI/ML approaches; supporting dedicated application servers; supporting other analysis units with SQL Server views and procedures; data wrangling; software application development; conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; assisting team members; setting, installing, testing, and maintaining software; evaluating systems and providing technical directions; assisting with product evaluations; resolving technical issues; supporting Data Governance tools; and maintaining vigilance in risk management and compliance. Education and experience requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT, MIS or related field, 2+ years in data warehouse and programming experience in SQL, C#, Python or Java, experience with ETL pipelines, and preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Knowledge and skills include statistical computing, web scraping, web-based application development, Microsoft IIS, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Azure, programming languages, communication skills, project management, async frameworks, dashboarding tools, SQL Server ecosystem, front-end development, data formats, OOP, and networking principles.
