Job Type Full-time, Part-time Description Looking for a Grave shift caregiving position or a second caregiver job? You must be able to work 2 days on/ 2 days off plus every other weekend. All training is offered during the daytime only. Our Direct Support Professionals support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that live in their own home by implementing behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals, doing household tasks, and fun activities. No caregiving experience? We provide 75 hours of paid training with Zoom and in person classes. Key Responsibilities Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/personal hygiene Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals/snacks Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.) Assist individuals with self-administration of medications Document services provided using computer Benefits $20.50/hour Know your schedule for the month-easy to plan work/life balance PT Day shift 18-24 hours/week FT Day shift 24-32 hrs/week Work a 2 day on/2day off/every other weekend shift 75 Hours of Paid Caregiver training Medical/Dental/Vision/HSA/life insurance benefits after 60 days (must work avg of 30 hours/week) 401K with matching after 1 year if benefit eligible Opportunities for advancement (Lead DSP, Supervisor, House Manager) Employee bonuses, events for our employees include picnics and parties, Backpack for School, Trunk or Treat, gift cards, etc. Great opportunity beginning your career path with excellent training!
