Job Description

Imperial Health is hiring a data analyst. Must be ON SITE IN PASADENA, CALIFORNIA (only local applicants will be accepted) and must have medical/healthcare experience.

Responsibilitie s

  • Responsible for providing moderate to complex level technical, analytical, and reporting support for the Claims, Provider, Finance, Enrollment, Utilization Management and compliance departments' programs and reporting needs. Must have extensive working experience on relational databases and process automation. In addition to technical data concepts, must have the desire to learn and be able to conduct detailed analysis and provide results. Is responsible for managing reporting projects to ensure that data and analysis requests are completed timely, accurate manner to meet the needs of the requesting department

Qualificati on

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or equivalent experience5+ years' Data Analysis experience Proficient in SQL.
  • Experience with SQL (TSQL, PostgresSQL, MySQL, etc.), MS SQL Server, relational databases, and BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker etc.) is required
  • Prior experience data modeling, SSIS, SSRS, Python, high-level programming language, using ETL tools (Informatica, AWS Glue, fivetran etc.), a plus.
  • EZCap experience preferred4+ years of experience with moderate to complex SQL reporting and analytics with data analysis, extraction, and manipulation of healthcare data (medical claims, enrollment/eligibility, membership data etc.)
  • 4+ years designing reports, automating reports, and developing executive-level presentations.
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare delivery or healthcare business setting preferred.

Pay range and compensation p ackage - $85-90k
